Every price on Auktia is the price you actually pay: the bid, buyer’s fee, tax and shipping, worked out on the live bid before you place it. The items you’re bidding on follow you around the site with live clocks, and the clock never cheats you at the close: a late bid adds time, so nobody wins on network speed. Simple bid, easy win.

What we set out to fix

Online auctions had become a place where the winning bid was only the start of the bill, the clock refreshed once a minute while items closed, and the seller’s software charged by the bid. Auktia prices every item all-in, runs a clock that actually ticks, and charges sellers a monthly plan fee and a small share of the winning bids, never a fee per bid, so a $1 item can be sold without losing money on it.
