Run the sale, not the software
Cataloguing is the slowest hour of every sale. Auktia turns a barcode, a photo or a spreadsheet into a finished lot in seconds, then runs a fair timed sale where bidders see the real price before they bid.A barcode, a photo or a spreadsheet becomes a finished lot in seconds.

Selling on Auktia now
Scan the barcode. The lot’s written.
Point your phone at a barcode and Auktia finds the product and writes the lot: photo, title, brand, category and retail price. You tap the condition; the estimate and opening bid follow.
50 scans a month on every monthly plan: Amazon stickers and AI photo IDsUnlimited: $125/moSee what it saves ↓
Reads UPC and EAN barcodes with the phone’s camera. Or type the number, or an Amazon ASIN.
Filled in for you
Built for returns and pallets
One tap for condition (new, open box, used, damaged or for parts) and one for tested or untested, and the estimate follows retail the way liquidation houses price returns. Snap the real item when the stock photo isn’t enough.
One app, not two
No separate scanning subscription and no export step. Scans land straight in your sale, and the next one of the same item fills in instantly.
What scanning costs, and what it saves
Every monthly plan includes 50 scans a month. A scan is an Amazon warehouse sticker lookup or an AI photo identification; UPC barcodes don’t count. Unlimited scanning, for both, is $125 a month. Move the sliders to your numbers.
Typing it up
Scanning with Auktia
A scanned lot takes about 15 seconds to check and save. Your numbers will vary; these are only estimates.
Snap it. AI writes it up.
For anything without a barcode, take a photo or drop a folder. Each photo becomes a lot, and AI writes the title, category, description, condition notes and a starting estimate. You check it and move to the next thing on the table.
Photos find their lot
Name files by lot number, like 101.jpg and 101-2.jpg, and they group under the right lot. On a computer, drag in a whole folder.
Fast over a weak signal
Photos are resized on your phone before they upload, so a table’s worth goes up from a barn or a storage unit.
You stay the expert
Every field is editable, and the estimate is a starting point, not a valuation. Switch AI off and write lots yourself.
A spreadsheet in, a sale out
Drop a CSV or Excel file. Auktia reads the column names you already use, shows you the match and the first lots before anything goes in, and fixes what spreadsheets get wrong.
Liquidation manifests
A pallet’s manifest lists barcodes, not photos. Auktia looks up every barcode the way Scan to list does, so the whole pallet becomes finished lots with photos in one upload. Anything the sheet already says, it keeps.
Exports from other platforms
Catalogues from HiBid, Auction Flex, AuctionMethod and BidWrangler come across as they are: lot numbers, titles, estimates, reserves, quantities and image links. Photos are copied into your saleroom.
What gets fixed
Titles in ALL CAPS, “$1,200.00” prices, “200–300” estimates, missing opening bids, other sites’ category names, and barcodes Excel mangled. You see each fix before you import.
Your data leaves as easily
Export any sale as a CSV that HiBid, Auction Flex or Excel opens, photos included as links.
Set the close, see the close
Stagger and soft close decide how your sale day feels. Change them and watch the schedule redraw before you publish.
Lot stagger
Soft close
A bid at 6:59:50 pushes that lot to 2 minutes from the bid, and keeps pushing until bidding stops. Bidders see the live clock on every lot.
Also here
When bidding opens, buyer’s premium, sales tax, a default shipping price and pickup details, set once for the sale. Reserve, shipping and quantity can be set per lot. Before a sale goes live, Auktia checks every lot and tells you what’s missing.
Watch it close
The live board lists every lot by closing time with its high bid, bid count, leading paddle, reserve and clock. Totals for high bids and your premium update as the sale runs.
Keep listing while it runs
Scan more stock into a live sale and each lot joins the end of the schedule as soon as it has a title and a photo.
You decide who bids
Open a sale to anyone with a paddle, or only to bidders you approve. Approve the waiting list in a tap, and block a paddle from one sale or from all of yours.
The real price, before the bid
Bidders can see every lot’s all-in price: the bid plus your premium, tax and shipping. Winners aren’t surprised by the invoice, and you have fewer arguments about it.
Every paddle is a person
Bidders sign in with a one-time code sent to their email, or with Google. Each sale’s Bidders tab shows who registered, their bids, what they lead, and their email.
Bids up to their maximum
Bidders set a maximum and Auktia bids for them, one step at a time, up to it.
Priced for the sale you actually run
One flat monthly fee plus a share of what sells. Auktia never charges by the bid or by the lot.
Pinch Hitter: one sale, no subscription
For an estate, a farm or a one-time sale. No monthly fee. $100 a sale plus 10% of the first $2,500 sold, 7.5% of the next $2,500 and 5% above that, and never more than $500 a sale, so a house or a tractor line-up pays $500, not a percentage. Covers up to 2 sales. Want a hand setting it up? Consulting is $300 for up to 2 hours, then $200 an hour.
How you’re billed
When an auction closes, Auktia places a hold on your card for its fee; about 4 days later we charge only what’s still owed after card payments (Auktia’s fee on those is taken automatically) and release the rest. Your monthly plan fee is charged on the 1st, on top of those auction fees. Your first month is prorated from the day you first publish; plan changes apply from the next month. It all goes on one card you keep on file with Auktia; the details are in our terms. Prices are plus sales tax where it applies: for a house in Texas, Texas sales tax on 80% of Auktia’s fees.
Unlimited scanning: +$125 a month on any plan
Scan the X00 sticker on a brown box, or snap the item and AI identifies it, and the lot fills in: title, photos, retail price, and the exact colour and size. Every monthly plan includes 50 scans a month, where a scan is an Amazon sticker lookup or an AI photo identification (UPC barcodes don’t count); unlimited scanning covers both for $125 a month.
What the software costs, both ways
The going rate today is about $60 a month for the software plus $0.25 per unique bid, capped at $150 a sale. Move the slider.
